Thank you for your reply. I can confirm that the "Save as" issue is indeed specific to the Flatpak. I reported it here: https://github.com/flathub/com.xnview.XnViewMP/issues/83
Thanks for clarifying that you are not the maintainer of the Flatpak package. It has your name on it and all the metadata ...

Re: Deleting files in batch processing does not work
I noticed another issue that might be related. Once again, I suspect that there are different mechanisms in XnView of which one does not work (for me). I can't use "Save As" anymore. It says "error renaming file" and does not write the file. The following is especially noteworthy:
1. Open a file

Re: Deleting files in batch processing does not work
I really can't see how that could be a (simple) permission problem. I can delete the files with XnView manually. I just can't delete them with XnView's batch job processor. I will ask the AUR maintainer, but it looks like it's because of some difference in deleting in XnView.

Re: Deleting files in batch processing does not work
I noticed that 1.9.1 is now also available as AUR package, so I could test the same version from the other package. It does not solve the issue though. I can't think of anything permission related since XnView obviously has permission to write to the folder it should delete from.

Re: Deleting files in batch processing does not work
When running XnView 1.9.1 from the TGZ archive, the problem does not appear.

Deleting files in batch processing does not work
Hi there,
when I use batch processing to convert file formats with deleting the source, it just doesn't work. The source file is not deleted. Might be a regression from here: https://forum.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?p=191922&hilit=deleting+batch&sid=54ffe9661793dd3d79d423988ffb11fc#p191922

Re: Copying (parts of) image in XnView causes KDE to freeze after closing XnView
Addition: There is another circumstance that I can reproduce that might help.
1. Open XnView with an image and copy something
2. Open a second XnView with another image
3. Close the second XnView
4. KDE Plasma will freeze
5. Close the first XnView where you copied something
6. The freeze will not ...

Re: Copying (parts of) image in XnView causes KDE to freeze after closing XnView
Correct.
It also doesn't matter how much time passes after the copying. The freezing always happens immediately after closing XnView / while XnView is closing.

Copying (parts of) image in XnView causes KDE to freeze after closing XnView
Hi,
I encounter the following reproducible behaviour that I think is caused by something in XnView MP:
When I open an image with XnView, select a part of that image and copy it (Ctrl + C), then close XnView, KDE Plasma freezes for a couple seconds. Usually I am in Dolphin in a folder with image ...

Re: "Save as" always selects bitmap format
Interesting. I now tried the AUR version instead of the Flatpak version, using the same xnview.ini, and the problem immediately disappeared. XnView does have full system access though, so the usual permission problems with Flatpak should not appear. Do you have any idea what could make the ...

It happens for jpg and png images. I rarely use any other formats.

"Save as" always selects bitmap format
Hi there,
my "save as" dialogue always pre-selects the bitmap (bmp) format. I don't even have any bitmap images. The option "use same file format" has no effect. I am on XnView 1.4.4 and I use the Flatpak version. What could be the reason? Are there more options that influence the file format? Or ...

Nevermind I already figured out I can still do it using the third mouse button.

Re: 0.98.0: Unexpected zoom behavior of selection function
I actually used this as a feature. Is there still a way to create a selection and immediately zoom in without having to press a button for "zoom selection"?
