I don't think this is important, but perhaps these defaults would be more intuitive.

Thumbnails= 'Show filenames in thumbnail mode' unchecked (new checkbox option).
Thumbnails & Labels= Filename in label list.

I disagree. The filename is needed for renaming and fully identifying the photo.

Strongly agree. By default "Thumbnails & Labels" should not show less than "Thumbnail", this would be confusing. Apart from the filename even 1-3 more useful labels could be added by default.

But by default you have filename, type & dimension!!

It's the same, must be checked in next beta

Thumbnail defaults are perfect in beta1.
