Browser to fullscreen issues

In 1.82 Under tools, options, general, switching modes,
the use double click to switch between
browser > fullscreen > viewer
does not work, instead it makes the image come up in a non-fullscreen viewer.
Using browser <> fullscreen | viewer <> fullscreen doesn't work properly either (if you have the view, fullscreen "enable navigation with left and right mouse button" option selected)-
what happens if you double click the second image in a folder is it comes up fullscreen, but something catches the double click in a buffer or the mouseup event and shows the second image for a second, but then instantly moves back to the first image in the folder- so you always see one off of the image you meant to click.
In 1.80.3, the browser <> fullscreen | viewer option worked ok I think, and the browser > fullscreen > viewer displayed the image you double clicked on. But there was still an issue where if you double clicked again to go to the non-full viewer and left/right navigation was on, it would rewind to the previous image before going to non-fullscreen (probably a similar cause of being confused by the mouse buffer or events).
However in 1.80.3 my normal use of going between browser and fullscreen worked pretty well- in 1.82 my normal use is not working well because of this issue.
(My os is windows xp sp2, using normal microsoft intellipoint mouse driver, 2ghz cpu)
