How to use IPTC features in RC1

Hello!

Please, tell me how to use the IPTC features announced with RC 1:
Added : Text template (iptc, exif, ...) in multi-convert
Added : Add/Merge option for batch IPTC

I don't know about templates in multi-convert, but in 1.74 RC5 there is a "merge with existing values" checkbox at the bottom of the "Edit IPTC data" dialog which is not in 1.70.4

Please, tell me how to use the IPTC features announced with RC 1:

It's to use IPTC/EXIF value to show text.
