compare images easier by switching with keyboard or button

Hi,
I used to compare images with xn classic often and it was possible to switch 2 pictures with arrow keys very fast (if tabs above were selected)
Now with xn mp it is not as usable because I have to click with mouse in each tab (on the left side in compare mode) for switching between the two images I want to compare

What I do: select 2 images, SHIFT+C (compare), set commpare mode to "tabs" (at bottom side)

What I want: I want to switch fast between 2 images without being distracted by clicking with the mouse in the different tabs. So I can have my eyes at the pictures I want to compare.

Solution: switching shoud be possible with keyboard (and maybe optional with a switch button)
