Hello, I'm reaching out here because I have a question. I usually use xnconvert to compress .avif files. I use version 1.95 for this because the parameters for compressing avif files have changed in the current versions. My question is why the new versions are not as efficient for .avif files like 1.95, I have done multiple tests between both versions and have checked the quality of the images. it's true that compressing in 1.95 is not faster than new versions. From a 20MB PNG, on version 1.95 a size ranging from 500kb-740kb and the quality practically similar to the original. In contrast, for the newer versions, with a visual quality like 1.95, the file size tends to range from 2MB-3MB for the same speed. Compressing at very low speed on newer versions, I have managed to reach 1MB, but it takes 3 times longer on my PC. My question is whether this fact is being considered, or if there are plans to optimize it, because i have to have two xnconverter versions, one updated and the 1.95 specifically for avif.

By the way, I appreciate that xnconverter is freeware, it has been very useful to me and does a spectacular job, thank you very much.
