Workaround is restarting xnview everytime you create a new folder.
This bug exists since 1.6 (viewtopic.php?f=62&t=46649&p=194933&hil ... es#p194933).
I assume the folder tree function is buggy/not updated/must be rewritten and so it was deactivated by default: https://www.xnview.com/mantisbt/view.php?id=1919
The xnview-team doing great work
and have features and bugs with higher priority than this favourite issue.So it would be nice to have a simple hacky refresh-button (or keybind) that calls the function that loads the folder tree at program start.
I know its not a real solution but I have large folder structures and using the favourite folder tree is a huge timesaver.
Alternatively, fix the favourites folder tree feature
