Double Click not working correct

I am using XnView MP since a while.
I moved to a new computer and set up windows fresh.

Now there is a problem with double click on my mouse and the control of pictures.

I use Logitech mouse with 2 buttons on the left side (thumb). I set both buttons to have the function "double click".
This works fine in all Windows. Explorer (expanding folders), openening Files. Just list double click on the normal left mouse button.

In XnView i set up mouse control to switch mode (Switching mode) Browser <> Fullscreen | Viewer <> Fullscreen.

I set this mode for Double click, Middle click and Enter.

It is working for Enter and Middle click. But not for double click on the double click button.

What happens when i use the double click button (i have 2 of them) is strange.
Double click Button 1 (front left on mouse): nothing at all
Double click Button 2 (back left on mouse): sometime (takes 2-3 clicks) picture opens in fullscreen. Then when i click again, it is like scrolling pictures in one direction (previous picture. But always in this direction)

Fun thing is, when i use my old computer with remote Desktop, it works like usual.

(I copied setting from userdata to have the exact same settings)

i tried older version... I did a fresh install.
Noting works.

Fund a solution / workaround for this problem.

In logitech setpoint software there is the possibility to set up special button assignements for individual games/apps.

So i set double click for XnView. Worked! Removed again and it also works now.

(No indiviual settings has been made before. It was a clean install)
