I have a M1 MacBook Pro that I use with a BenQ SW270c as second monitor. For editing photos and videos I use LR classic, Photoshop and DaVinci resolve. I use XNView just for arranging my slides (photos and videos) for slideshows in the right order and renaming them, so that they stay in this order for presentation...
=> This works, but the colors look highly oversaturated (on both displays) and completely unnatural.
What can I do to fix this problem?
Wolfgang

Re: Colors look disastrous
Hi Pierre,
Yes, I use it. I tried already several profiles, but the appearance does not change (also when I do not use ICC)...
When I shift the image from the BenQ monitor to the retina monitor of the MacBook, the oversaturation is better, but still exists...

Hi Pierre,
The file is too large, but here I have put it into dropbox, together with a color profile: https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/row61o8g ... 6rgv57kyje
=> Bur as I said it does not make a difference, whether I use this profile or nothing...

Re: Colors look disastrous
with this profile it's normal, it's sRGB profile, and the image is in sRGB so no conversion. Could you send me screenshots in XnView MP & other app?
Pierre.

Re: Colors look disastrous
Hi Pierre,
Thank you for taking care. I have put two screenshots in dropbox (https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/row61o8g ... 6rgv57kyje): "Preview" displayed with Preview and XNView displayed with XNView...
I admit the red is demanding, but it looks much better when the file is viewed via Preview and completely unnatural when viewed via XNView...
