This software and project is better than we first might appreciate. Not only do we get to use it for free, but the level of responsiveness and respect by Pierre (and others!) is impressive for a cross-platform software project.
Yes, I do prefer open-source over proprietary software. But other than that, XnViewMP is a fantastic program.
I've donated in the past before, and plan to do it again soon.
