Can no longer add suffix in batch rename?

Hi,

I have been using XnView for years, and finally upgraded to the most recent (Classic) version. However, now I can no longer batch rename by just adding a suffix or prefix to the existing filename? Has this been reconfigured (previously = rightclick on selected files>batch rename>name template), or is it no longer a function?

when you double click on a file in 'Batch rename' dialog, name template is not updated?
