Output: flexible handling of source files (Suggestion)

Sometimes the user does not only want to create converted files, he wants to keep the original one in a new place. So the command would be something like

a) Copy the original files to x:\filearchive\<originalpathname>\<originalfilename>
b) Do the conversion

Yes, a) could be done in a previous step with filemanagers and so on, but I think this suggestion would offer a comfortable file-handling.
