xbm files

Post by Octopuss »

Xnview associates itself with xbm files, yet when I try to open any, I get "File can't be loaded" error message.
Is the format supported after all?

I already have that checked, but it didn't work.
I don't have any xbm files here anymore though so I can't test it with 0.94

I have the same issue, using XnView MP version 1.0. Have "show all graphic formats" checked.

Get "File can't be loaded" error message.

Example file

edit: I think I found the issue.

CDPR uses the XBM format for their games such as Witcher 2, Cyberpunk 2077 etc. But they are not "X Bitmap" (XBM) files, and that confuses standard image editing programs. They're actually DDS files packaged in an archive format.

Yes it's not a XBM format.
