XnView 2.46 only stays open for about 5 seconds then closes

I run windows 10 Version 1809 64 bit (KB4467708). Whenever I open XnView, it closes after about 5 seconds. I have tried rebooting and reinstalling. I am able to still run my slideshow SLD files with no issue however. I would like to test an older XnView, where do I download the older ones?

you had this problem before? do you have tried to rename xnview.ini?

Thank you, renaming the ini file worked! And no, I haven't had this issue before.
