Hi,
I've just downloaded XnView and would like to use it as my picture viewer, but when I launch it under X11 nothing just happens !!
It can't be a pb with X11, as I use it to run Gimp and have no pb with it.
If I launch XTerm and type
'open /Applications/Gimp.app', then Gimp starts up.
If I launch XTerm and type
'open /Applications/XnView.app', then there's a XnView icon appearing on my dock and disappearing 2 seconds after.
It seems I'm not the first to have this pb, but I could'nt fine any solution in the forum.
Anybody can help ??

Pb launching XnView from X11 (Mac OSX 10.3)
The same here:
MacOs X.3.9
X11 installed
X11 SDK installed
Xtools installed
Still no launch of XnView.
By the way, I'm using already a couple of Unix software: Gimp, Inkscape. They run properly.
By an excursion through this forum there seem to be a couple of Mac users who succeded in running it. There must be a way, then.
Wouldn't any fellow Mac user tell us 'how to'? Or point to some Online FAQ, anything… possibly in english, my French has gotten lousy.
I'm just awfully curious to try this out…

Do you have some error log when you start XnView?orso B. Schmid wrote:The same here:
