MP: Make category tree compact by default

I read it somewhere else but cannot find the post again so I know I'm not the only one who's bothered by this. By default, the category tree is unfolded which can be really annoying if you have a lot of subcategories. It would be nice to be able to choose the automatic action of the category tree just like it has been implemented for folder tree. So I'd love the category tree to be compact by default (also the one where you can tick or untick categories).

In the same way, I'd love to be able to remove an item from a category by using the context menu "Remove from this category" just like in XnView for Windows as it's much quicker and less convenient.

Thanks for doing this (if possible) for I'm losing a lot of time scrolling through categories and that's a real put off.
