1. Open XnView in Browser mode
2. Open a file into View mode
3. Go Filter menu -> Effects -> Drop Shadow
4. Adjust the settings (I used both)
5. Check "Apply to image" -> you can see the changes
6. Uncheck "Apply to image" -> nothing happens!
You should be able to see your original image after unchecking "Apply to image"
