Suggestion: High quality zoom only on fit

First of all, Thanks for the great program I've been using for many years. XnView is incredible.
Now to the subj:
Is it possible for "High quality zoom: [X] Fit" feature from an old XnView version to make a return in XnViewMP? Was there some architecture issue that led to the removal of that feature? It was useful for me when images were auto-fitted, and I generally use "Reduce only" now for this, but there's one problem - zooming out with really large images tend to be extremely slow, even in MP.
