RC3: Auto Image Size - No Fit problem

Post by ckit »

1. In xplorer2 (or any file manager)
2. Double-click on a file
3. In XnView, View Mode
4. Auto Image Size is set to "Fit image to window, large only"
5. I change it to "No Fit" and nothing happens!

The zoom counter down the bottom stays at 80% instead of going to 100%
AMD Ryzen 3 3300X 3.8Ghz, 16Gb DDR4, RX6600XT with Dell U2520D at 2560x1440@60Hz scaling 125%
Win11 x64 24H2, Hard Disk Sentinel Pro, MS PowerToys, Process Lasso Pro and Wintoys

Hum not sure that i must reset the zoom to 100%, "Not fit" specify only that the zoom must no be changed when window size change...

This bug is still present in RC4.

-1. In XnView -> Options -> View Mode ->
-2. Set "Auto Image Size" to "Fit image to window, large only"
-3. Exit XnView

1. In xplorer2 (or any file manager)
2. Double-click on a file -> XnView loads the file into View Mode
3. Goto Zoom button on toolbar and select "No Fit"

Nothing happens!

But no fit don't reset zoom, it's normal.

With a small image it's normal but not when it's a large image. If I were to reverse the process and start out with "No Fit" and XnView loaded it, it would be 100% instead the 51% I keep getting.

ckit, try to click on that Zoom button, it's not the Zoom button but "Zoom 100%" button.

To prevent confusion I suggest to add "Original size - 100%" also to sub-menu.
