The option "Use External Player for movie" does nothing enabled or disabled XnView will still use it's internal player for playing movies.
Tested with WMV files, my WMV files are associated with WMP 9.

Ok, I found the problem.
The "Use External Player for movies" only works for the Browser Mode when in View Mode or Opening Files from View Mode the internal player is used.
This also applies for using XnView with SendTo.
