In RC3, the option "Use Embedded Thumbnail" which can be found in Options, category "Browser > Thumbnail" is not activated by default (means if you start XnView the very first time, without "xnview.ini").
I wonder whether this should be activated by default. The advantage would be that thumbnails are displayed extremely fast if embedded thumbnails are available in the picture. The disadvantages is that the thumbnail's quality might be not as good as the quality of the calculated thumbnail (with high quality on).

Re: RC3: Option "Use Embedded Thumbnail" activated
Anyone agree? Now we have a symbol to know that embedded thumbnail is used, so perhaps a good idea????helmut wrote:In RC3, the option "Use Embedded Thumbnail" which can be found in Options, category "Browser > Thumbnail" is not activated by default (means if you start XnView the very first time, without "xnview.ini").
