v.0.26(L) Batch convert won't resize png into other folder

In same folder, resizing and converting a JPG to PNG is successful.
When resizing and converteing to a different folder, *no resizing occurs. Only the format change is successful. So far the problem seems to depend on folder location as described below.

Settings:
filename:{Filename}_fit_800x600
fit;800x600;
source:JPEG;3056x2292
target:PNG,
enlarge/reduce: always
resample:lanczos
[x]keep ratio
[ ]follow orientation

Folders used:
*Problem with this as source: /home/user/mnt/q/in_q/testq/local_copy
No problem with this as source: /home/user/mnt/q/in_q/testq
Target: /home/z/mnt/q/in_q/testq/800

I cannot recreate problem. Previously it only happened with fit, not longest/shortest side.

But strange that resize doesn't occur with some path...
