[OK] RC2: Lingering pop-up thumbnail descriptions. Windows?

This might be a Firefox or Windows or Xnview problem:
Pop-up information can linger on screen for a few seconds after <alt + tab> is pressed to go to
another program. The problem becomes worse when this yellow pop-up box obscures the
windows start menu. This can delay selection of other program for a few seconds.

To quickly recreate problem, I:
1. used default RC2 settings.
2. put Firefox browser in background.
3. put mouse over thumbnail to see big yellow box.
4. <alt + tab> to another program.

Hmm, this seems to often happen to me, too. Where does the big yellow box originate? Only in XnView? I have similar problems with big yellow boxes from Firefox (ForecastFox extension).

I think it's Win XP's default setting, that tooltips persist for 5 seconds (unless you moved your mouse pointer out of the tooltipped thumbnail, of course)

Correct. I recreated problem by holding mouse over MS taskbar and recreated this. So this must not be a bug. Nor is it a feature request to
bypass MS defaults (by me anyway). Problem solved.
