What does this mean? If we had this feature, what would it enable us to do?

Thanks XnTriq!
Ok, so I loaded xyz's image onto my HTC Touch Pro2 (Rhodium) and viewed it with XnView, Opera, and HTC Album .. and they all displayed it incorrectly (dishonourably?
) .. which seems to suggest that the problem lies at a device/OS level? And I'm guessing this is why xyz is asking about building a monitor profile that XnView will honour in order to overcome this problem .. am I on the right track here?
