Hello,
I think it would be good if the preview pictures which are shown
if you export a jpeg picture
(see http://www.failure.bravehost.com/xnview/export_preview/)
are zoomed to 100% by default and be able to move the picture to certain
cliped aereas to compare the quality (like the old psp9 export function, if
you know)
Because if the whole image ist resized to this small images you
can't see the resulting image with the given compression values.
In the case of exporting jpegs

What is the problem to implement this feature?
Shouldn't be a big problem, I think.

Re: Export Preview
Hi,
XnView v1.97 (LIBFORMAT v5.54) 27/11/2009:
Fixed:
* Export dialog, 100% used by default - http://newsgroup.xnview.com/viewtopic.php?f=34&t=18044
Several times I use a big zoom (i.e. bigger than 100%) in the export dialog in order to optimize jpeg settings while controlling the visual artifacts on-line.
XnView 1.97 resets the zoom to 100% at every setting change making impossible to perceive small changes at pixel level.
While the default 100% zoom is welcome, the continuous reset certainly isn´t.
This is really annoying and I hope it can be fixed in the next maintenance release.
O.S.: XP sp3
Regards.
