Well, I'd like to run XnView on my new MB.
Is there a chance that there will be a version for it?

Well I got it to run now. It's stable and speed is amazing. Best of what I've ever seen on my MAC so far. Worked through several hundred of pics with NO crash.xnview wrote:Currently i work on a mac versionmk53 wrote:Well, I'd like to run XNView on my new MB.

But: the colors are definitely wrong.

I do not know how I can tell these versions apart. The version that I have is one that I've downloaded from xnview.com some time ago and I have the MB since 26th of oct. Therefore I'm not so familiar with the tools and features of MacOS. If I remember correctly the version is something like 1.70??.xnview wrote:Do you have the universal binary version?mk53 wrote: But: the colors are definitely wrong.
Before that I worked with Linux & WinXP. The pictures all appear to have too much of green (e.g. red is missing?). I can try to make screendumps if possible and upload them to some place and send the link if you wish.

Well, back home again. Now I have access to my Mac and made 3 screendumps which I have uploaded.mk53 wrote:I do not know how I can tell these versions apart. Using the color palette of the app. LiveQuartz and drawing just one from the palette as shown in LiveQuarz.png. The result is in: real.png
Open this in xnview and you get xnview.png.
Hope this helps a little.
