Umm... everyone still has invites. They renew themselves periodically. I have about 6 accts, and 100 invites on each one.

I see they also increased the attachment size limit from 10MB to 20MB.

Now invites are no longer necessary, anyone can create and google account that comes with a gmail account :)
That's a nice step form Google since, if I'm not mistaken, hotmail already offers 20Mb :)

It's funny, gmail has been in this supposed beta stage for a couple years now. A fact that proves what I said from the beginning, it wasn't really beta at all, it was just a marketing gimmick (both to increase demand for gmail, and to get other email addresses that they can sell to marketers. Your gmail address is supposedly safe from that, but that doesn't stop them from using the address you used to get the invite.)
