Hello!
Adding mousemode feature from Imagine would be great.
In the mouse settings you can add mousemodes and assign tasks to this.
You can switch between this mousemodes by pressing a button in menuebar
or by pressing the mousebutton you have assigned to that command [as I did (see first picture) by pressing middle mousebutton].
I like this feature a lot.
In conjunction with this suggestion it would be a great enhancement.
What do you think?
BTW: Imagine is a lister plugin for Total Commander (Plugin) also.

Adding mousemodes!

Thanks for your quick reply, Dreamer.
I know "Mouse Shortcuts". I can read help.
And for creating shortcuts (mouse, keyboard) I use Autohotkey.
Thanks anyway.
The thing I was trying to point out is, why are these options so limited.
Try imagine and you will understand.
Look:
You can assign all this commands to every mouseshortcut you want. And with switching between different mousemodes, you have boundless possibilities.
Impressive, isn't it!?

I have the feeling that it would fit inside this major project: Keyboard/Mouse manager.
What you show look very nice...

Why doing it
- Currently keyboard/mouse actions are configured in XnView in 3 places- General>Switching modes, Browser>Open action (not directly), and View>Keyboard/Mouse. It would be nice to have them all in one place.
- Make keyboard/mouse operation really flexible- everyone will be able to suit XnView to his/her taste. Now this type of configuration is limited.
- No more discussion about changing some shortcut/mouse action.
Why doing it like this
- Great flexibility
- Clear interface- all in one place and simple to set up
- Should be not too hard to implement, just interface to some internal events table XnView supposedly uses now.
What do you say, Pierre?
Thanks, Olivier (and Xyzzy)

The current focus is more on bugs and newly implemented features.
Thanks for the reply, Olivier.
I will have an eye on that. But don't worry: I'll help push this a bit, later...
