RAW files dark in XnView

Post by jan »

Hello,

I started using XnView few days ago, a great software!
I found only one problem and couldn't find a solution in this forum.
My RAW files (CR2 from Canon 20D) are bit darker. When watching same files in GIMP they come up right.

Do I need to install some additional plugin ?

Thanks.

Thanks for the reply.

It would be great if I could watch my RAW files and convert them straight away in XnView into desired format (i.e. for web).

Another feature which I think is worth to consider is white color balancing (i.e. as in Raw Shooter) but I'm not sure if this is not beyond the scope of XnView.

Anyhow, XnView is excellent piece of software.

Cheers!
