Exiftool doesn't display certain parameters anymore

OK, downloaded version 1.7.2 and installed it. Same problem.

Ran Disk Utility:
Running First Aid on “Macintosh HD” (disk2s2)
The volume /dev/rdisk2s2 appears to be OK.
File system check exit code is 0.
Restoring the original state found as mounted.

Operation successful.

-> There is no problem on the HD

Ran Onyx -> no problems reported

I can run exiftool 12.99 from the command prompt without any issues, all metadata are read and displayed.

Don't know what else I can do…

so it's not from latest version. i don't understand why you have only latest lines from ExifTool

The new version doesn't display certain parameters from my ARW files anymore.

Until recently, I could read following information:

Lens : FE 24-105mm F4 G OSS
Date Created : 2024:10:18
Aperture : 6.3
Lens ID : Sony FE 24-105mm F4 G OSS
Shutter Speed : 1/160
Focus Distance 2 : 2.015 m
Field Of View : 60.3 deg
Focal Length : 31.0 mm (35 mm equivalent: 31.0 mm)
Hyperfocal Distance : 5.08 m
Light Value : 11.6

Now the »Focus Distance 2« is missing. OK, I can use exiftool to view these parameters, but in older versions this had been a very comfortable way to check lens data…

add parameter:

ExifTool:Focus Distance 2: <font color="cyan">{ExifTool:FocusDistance2}<font color="white">


result is

"Focus Distance 2: Inf" = infinite

for Pierre: that user said: in proprieties>exiftool has not "focus distance 2" in list show...so user used command exiftool, output: has all informations so there is "Focus Distance 2" so i checked in nxviewmp i add parameter is works output "Focus Distance 2" so it is works.. but issue is in proprietes does not show all informations..
