I don't understand how archives work.
1. I have a .7z file.
2. I see the .7z file in the file list overview.
3. I double-click the .7z file.
4. All the files in the folder disappear, and I'm left with an 'empty' file list.
I expected the .7z file to open and the tree to show the .7z's folder structure.
What am I doing wrong?
How do archives work?

Re: How do archives work?
Aha, that is it.
I needed to have 'show folders' on in the file list.
It is unfortunate that the folder structure of archives are not shown in the tree list (for navigation).
PS
Is there a reason why the settings don't save?
I had to specifically start XnView as an administrator for the settings to be remembered.
Did I install XnView incorrectly?
