How do I update?

So I'm using the zip version of XnViewMP and I'm wondering if I update to a newer version what do I do? The instructions on https://www.xnview.com/wiki/index.php/I ... _Uninstall say

"Update requires you the uninstall the old version and then install the new in the same directory. Please note that your personal settings and bookmarks in XnView are not lost during update."

So with the zip, which isn't installed, does that mean delete the old zip and move the new zip into it's place?

Oh nevermind, I didn't read the article fully, it does say "Delete the XnView Program directory and the files contained." for zip files.
