Hey, since this is my first post a short intro is due I guess.
I'm Valentin, a 3D artist in the film and architecture industry, been using XnView for some time now and only just earlier I realized it has Photoshop plugin support, completely missed that.
In a wild off-chance I tried installing one of my fav old plugins called ArionFX (from RandomControl, now known as Maverick Studio or something like that) and was hoping it would work.
The application *does* see it but nothing happens when I try to run it, was wondering if there's a way to troubleshoot and perhaps get it working. Affinity Photo have picked up and dropped this plugin about a dozen times now and I gave up hoping. Yes there are alternatives but this just does it all in one place without having to open bloody DaVinci or Nuke for some quick effects testing.
Also I found other plugin-related questions in this board so I assumed this is the place to ask, apologies if it's the wrong one.
Any chance I could get some pointers as to troubleshooting this one and maybe even getting it to work?
Happy to provide any info needed for this, so just let me know.

A download link to the plug-in could help, or if it's smaller than 2MiB you could attach it in a ZIP archive, not something I can help with myself, though...s_valentin wrote: ↑Fri Oct 18, 2024 8:53 am I tried installing one of my fav old plugins called ArionFX (from RandomControl, now known as Maverick Studio or something like that) and was hoping it would work.
