Dear Devs,
I use the latest XnView MP, filter for videos (all 4K videos, some MP4, some MOV files, both from phones IPhone and Samsung S23, some in vertical and some in horizontal format) - when I view them 1 by 1 in eihter the preview panel OR the full-view mode, it works just fine. Everything works.
But I just came back from vacation, going through them 1 by 1 in fullview and pressing ENTF+Enter to delete the unwanted ones.
In ~25-50% of the cases, when I delete a video and XnView MP jumps to the next one automatically, the rotation is wrong and a vertical video is rotated by 90°. In rare cases, it was showing as completely black view even. But in both cases, if I use the arrow keys left/right to go one video back than to the actual one again, it shows perfectly alright.
Any idea what's happening?
Not sure how to reproduce exactly and/or how to help you debugging this!
Thanks in advance!

Hm, maybe I expressed myself wrongly.
It doesnt seem like the video file itself is "buggy" or corrupted. When presing Arrow left and than right, the video is perfectly orientated.
It just is that AFTER file-deletion and automatic jump to the next file, sometimes XnView gets the orientation wrong... but when scrolling to next file and back again, the orientation is fine again.
Is it more clear now?
I'm very confident it's not file specific...

Okay, tried to reproduce today and could NOT reproduce.
Maybe it was some problem with my PC.
I remember, on that day when it happened, when deleting a video file using DEL+Enter in XnView, I often got the Windows explorer message "file in use" which also seemed odd. So maybe there was an issue with file handling, i.e. not releasing the file-lock properly either. Maybe a background tool using all my Laptop ressources (RAM, CPU).
However, as I said, tried to reproduce today with fresh reboot and everything was fine.
So yeah, I think you can forget about it Thanks!
