C4 files not showing as thumbnail in folder

Post by ayg2024 »

My company uses XnView to convert C4 files to PDFs. We are able to do this on 2 PCs, but we recently downloaded XnView to a third PC. On this third PC, folders do not show a thumbnail/preview of any C4s that they contain. So, to see if a batch of folders contain a C4, you have to manually enter each folder.

We have combed through XnView's settings on each of the three PCs and have not found any differences. Has anyone had this problem?

(this is an example of the view that I'm referring to Image)

Could you please adjust the image link code so that your image displays, always worth using the post preview option before clicking submit!

Apart from that, I believe there is a setting somewhere related to the display of previews for particular image formats, that supposing that C4 previews can be generated.

I don't normally use this setting myself but I've found it from one of my previous posts: Tools > Settings... > File list > Custom filter

While I only link to local images myself, I have on rare occasions figured out how to correct the code for this issue in other people's posts: I think the hyperlink url needs to point to the full path to the image, rather than to the webpage on which the image is hosted:
