If you browse a folder that contains image subfolders, the large ("4in1") folder images are created for those, and an entry for the containing folder is created in the cache; if afterwards you add another subfolder, the large folder image for this last is NOT created. Since there's no way of "refreshing" the cache, the only way is to remove the folder from the cache and browse it again. This both happens if you create the folder from Explorer or from within XnView itself.

Heavy testing will be done in Beta phase, currently the focus is on functionality. But still good to know...
I've switched to using the Alpha only, for my needs it's already useable and stable enough - though I must admit I use it 99% for thumbnailing and managing pictures, never for manipulating them.

Wow! I use both browser and viewer, and for me the Alpha crashes far too often to use it seriously. But it's an Alpha, so no real surprise.
