Batch convert: folders / files pattern matching?

Hello,

I am given a folder with images to convert. The folder has 2-3 levels of subfolders.
I need to be able to batch convert subfolders with specific keywords. Is there a way to automate this?

Basically, I would like to ask support for wildcards/regex when: a) importing files and folders, and b) would be also useful for the Actions as well (e.g. select to apply Action to specific patterns of files or folders).

currently you can only use wildcards/regex to filter files list
