Slideshow for specific folder

Is there a way to save up a Slideshow preset to show everything in a folder and its subfolders?
So that it can pick up any new files, or no longer show any deleted files each time it's run?
When I click "Add folder" it just seems to add the files at the time of saving the .sld preset and never refreshes the folder contents.
