The flash plugin to read swf files doesn't seem to work anymore. I have this icon instead:
Did anyone got this problem too and found a workaround?

Re: SWF plugin doesn't work anymore
Download an earlier version before 32.0.0.371 of the Flash ActiveX plug-in and install it. Adobe has intentionally disabled it. Alternatively, use a standalone player which continues to work.

Sorry, that wasn't clear: I meant the XNView Flash/swf plugin doesn't work and gives me that icon.

Re: SWF plugin doesn't work anymore
use a SWF plugin version up to 32.
Recommended is 11.1.102.55 or 31.*.*
you will not lose any quality of display even if you use version 11.
Adobe has blocked all the latest versions of plugins since 32.0.0.465*.
Don't be afraid to use older versions, they won't do any harm.
The last version that supports Windows 95 is 7.0.73.0
- The latest version with support for Windows NT 4.0 is 8.0.42.0.
- The latest version to support Windows 98/ME is 9.0.289.0
- The latest version with support for Windows 2000 is 11.1.102.55
Processors without SSE-2 instruction are not supported since version 30.0! Use older version of player (plugin)
