Hello Pierre,
I am working on a Windows 10 system with version 0.98.2.
For dialog "Edit XMP..." I miss the tag xmp-dc:subject
This list-type tag is the XMP field for IPTC:keywords.
This would be very helpful, because the trend is to only use XMP in future instead of also IPTC-IIM
In this case dialog "Edit XMP..." must also have the "Edit IPTC..." (multi-selection) option: keep and add new value (subject)
Thanks in advance
herb

Re: xmp-dc:subject
Hello Pierre,
In tools -> settings -> metadata -> IPTC & XMP you have 2 checkboxes:
- (1) Import XMP-subject or IPTC-keywords to catalogs categories
- (2) Export catalogs categories to XMP-subject and IPTC-keywords
In dialog EDIT IPTC... you can edit
- Keywords and
- Categories and SupplementaCategories.
All these fields can be edited independent on catalogs categories
In dialog EDIT XMP... you cannot edit
- subject (which is the corresponding XMP-field for IPTC-IIM keywords
- XMP-photoshop:category and XMP-photoshop:SupplementalCategories (which are the corresponding XMP-fields for IPTC-IIM fields
These fields are only written because of global setting (2)
And yes, to have also XMP-lightroom: HierarchicalSubject, is also a great feature.
Best regards
