XnviewMP 0.98.2 - Riot Plugin / JPEG XL writing

Does somebody know, how to use the latest Riot Optimizer Version 1.x (64bit) in XnView MP? I did not find any instruction to use it in XnViewMP.

Since Version 0.98.2 of XnViewMP you can read/write the latest JPEG XL Format.
I read many things about the new format, but woud like to know, which JPEG XL compression is used.
Does it save files loseless or lossy? I do not see any switch to choose the compression ratio.

Put the Riot plugin in AddOn folder

I also saw that the JPEG XL support was added in 0.97.0 but I cannot find it under version 0.98.2 on macOS (installed from Homebrew), is that normal? Thanks.
