cdr files problem
Hi, I have XnView Classic newly installed under Windows 10 Prof. I used to be able to see all my cdr files as thumbnails if I entered the corresponding directory. Now that does not work any more. When I click on a thumbnail, the answer is (in German, I translate): "cant open file. Go to settings, click on open all available formats". I do that but that does not work".

Re: cdr files problem
The site says: It supports more than 500 image formats!
however, only 225 is supported
including 'cdr' not supported
how to activate all 500 formats?

Re: cdr files problem
'cdr' not included
225 file formats, not 500 as indicated on the main page
How to enable support for all 500 formats?

Re: cdr files problem
You have to activate Display all image file types in Tools → Options… → General → General.
XnView can only display the embedded thumbnails of CDR files because it's a proprietary format.
Re: cdr files problem
Do you mean this item?
This item has been enabled. However, there are still 225 formats. Please tell me more. Where to looking for.

Re: cdr files problem
Yes. Did you restart XnView?
I can't reproduce
Do you see CDR files in the browser if you set View → Filter by to All?
PS: Could you please check if AllFormats in the [Start] section of xnview.ini (Info → About… → INI file location) is set to 1?
Re: cdr files problem
Thanks for your help. Reinstalling the program solved the problem. Thank you for the great product!
Re: cdr files problem
sorry for necroing this thread, but I have the same problem. I verified the settings mentioned (couldn't find the .ini file because its XNViewMP perhaps), in About->Formats cdr is visible though, still I get no preview
