prn file problem

Post by Hans L »

I subscribe to the National Geographic Magazine digital edition, and that allows me to print magazine pages. So, I printed to file, and when I open the prn file with XnView Classic (2.46), I get this message:

"Please purchase CAD Image DLL to remove this text www.cadsofttools.com - Evaluation version -"

If I move the prn file over gs925w64.exe, the file opens and I see the text in the attachment.

Would anyone have any idea what I can do to go ahead and save this prn file as a pdf file?

The prn file is 3+ MG, and is a picture, possibly with some text.

Thanks,

Hans L

When you print to file you don't have an option to print as a PDF file? If not, installing a printer driver utility such as CutePDF should add the option to 'print' any printable file as a PDF.

Otherwise, this link from a very quick Google search may possibly be helpful.

cday, I have never printed directly to pdf, so I was unaware of it. It worked beautifully, and is exactly what I needed. Thanks!

Slight problem: setting Portrait for Adobe pdf in its Preferences (Win 10), and still, when I print from website to Adobe pdf, it is Landscape. Any clue?
