Multiple DB?

Is it possible to have 2 DBs?

I have photos on drive 1 and on drive 2.

Drive 2 is my "dump" hd. Everything from the cameras with the camera names DSC,IMG... I use it to delete images, rename images... I use XN to tag, delete and rename the images.
Drive 1 is my "work" hd. After I'm done, I copy (not move) the files that I'm interested in to drive 1. I use XN to categorize and label the images.

So right now, a lot of the images are duplicated on both ==> also in XNViewMP.

Is there a way of either having 2 DBs or what to else could I do?

you can use multiple .ini with different DB configuration, and start

you can create 2 differents configuration with 2 differents database location, change only the dbThumbFolder/dbThumbFlag
and start xnview with -ini parameter
