How to change standard transparency background to non white?
hi there,
how do i change the transparency background of the viewer (standard) to a color of my choice?
I do not want to change any graphic file, i just want to have the transparency showed in another color.

no that does not affect to the picture itself.

I think you may be considering different parameters...xnview wrote:sorry but it works
There is another parameter you could try: Tools > Options > Browser > Preview tab -- Background colour
Otherwise, could you try to explain what you are requesting in other words?

Method B:
- Go to Tools » Options... » View » View.
- Deactivate Use checkerboard pattern as background.
- Set Background colour to white.

Re: How to change standard transparency background to non white?
thank you guys trying to help me
i tried method A and Method B. and bot are not working for this.
just to make clear i am not talking about any .PNG files i am talking about .wmf (Windows Meta File).
just set it to green for test. as you can see its for the background but not "inside" the picture.

Re: How to change standard transparency background to non white?
Are you able to upload an example .wmf file, so as to be clearer about what you wish to do?
You will probably need to put the file in a ZIP or similar archive, current forum attachment limit is 2MiB.

Re: How to change standard transparency background to non white?
As it turns out, XnView doesn't support transparency in WMF: samplesPetCh01 wrote:just to make clear i am not talking about any .PNG files i am talking about .wmf (Windows Meta File).

cant use xnview then, because in whitescreen the green and yellow lighted lines in my drawings are almost not noticable.
sad
