I've attached a link here also for a multi layered aPhoto image. Approx 6 adjustment layers with some masks & filter fx. Problem with aPhoto files is they increase in size by a very large amount when edited like this so I've upped it to Mediafire storage.
link to one zipped aPhoto image, size 17.3mb when unzipped ... (link deleted)

As before, the little afphoto png preview looks fine, small, but you can ID the edits. Still the same used for Mac OS X QuickView. I'd hope the folks at Affinity might improve their file container system but thats another hill to climb! Will you add these previews to the next release of XNviewMP
I realized that I used the old classic XnView.
Now I installed the newest XnView MP version (0.84) but it still won't open *.afphoto files (also no tumbnail preview).

Thank you for your problem report, zenon49. Could you please try activating the setting Show all graphic formats in Tools » Settings | General | General?
Setting 'show all formats' works on MP for OS X. However, because I sort the thumbnails based on the exif date and Affinity deletes all Exif data when saving a file, the image is inserted at top of the folder, not next to the NEF and TIF and JPEG with the same file.
This is not your fault, it's a problem with Affinity.
