Re: Toolbar skins
Hello, does anybody have a toolbar skin with *larger* icons?
Currently, the icons aren't scaled up - at least with Windows 7 - and can get quite small on high resolution screens.

Thank you!

Workaround to increase the size of the icons on the main toolbar:Dirk13 wrote:Hello, does anybody have a toolbar skin with *larger* icons?
- Download mezich.png and open it with XnView.
- Resize it to 200% (Nearest Neighbour) and save it as %ProgramFiles%\XnView\skins\mezich_48\main32.bmp.
- Copy & paste the following text to NotePad and save it as %ProgramFiles%\XnView\skins\mezich_48\info.txt.
- Go to Tools » Options... » Toolbar » Skin and select Mezich 200%.
Code: Select all
label = "Mezich 200%"
version = 3
auto = 0
width = 48
height = 48
main32 = 1
browser = 0
browser32 = 0
tabtree = 0
icninfo = 0
imbar = 0
jpgbar = 0

Re: Toolbar skins
Hello XnTriq ... BTW: nice user-name
I followed your instructions. 200%, same path and filenames.
In the Options, I'm offered the Mezich 200, but only the name - no icons visible.
If I activate it, it looks like the screenshot I attached.

(I'm not uniq, though.)
Sorry about that. Could you please try changing version = 3 to version = 4?Dirk13 wrote:In the Options, I'm offered the Mezich 200, but only the name - no icons visible.

Re: Toolbar skins
Ah, better! And I also made a mistake with resizing.
Thank you, this helps for now.
But not a solution for the average user.

Re: About HiDPI support
Installing a hi-res version of the Mezich skin for the main toolbar:
- Create a new directory in the skins subfolder of your XnView installation and name it mezich_48.
- Use XnView to convert the attached PNG file to BMP format and save it as XnView\skins\mezich_48\main32.bmp.
- Copy & paste the following text and save it as XnView\skins\mezich_48\info.txt.
Code: Select all
label = "Mezich 48×48 (www.mezich.ru)" version = 4 auto = 0 width = 48 height = 48 main32 = 1 browser = 0 browser32 = 0 tabtree = 0 icninfo = 0 imbar = 0 jpgbar = 0
- Go to Tools » Options... » Toolbar » Skin and select Mezich 48×48.
