fast viewing each of sequence pictures without flickering?

Post by tom*de » Sun Apr 28, 2013 8:15 am

Hello,

one folder contains a lot of sequence pictures and I would like to see them as a movie.

In picture view mode, if press and hold down a button "cmd_NextFile" only one (next) picture will appear.

If press and hold down cursor-right-key (cmd_NextFile):
a) in fullscreen mode, every picture is shown, but screen is flickering when slide changes.
b) in picture view, not every pictures is shown, there are some images not displayed (skipped).

1. How can I fast-viewing each picture after another, without flickering. How many pictures per seconds should depends only from computer-speed.
2. How can I convert these pictures into a movie? (Mad some tests with VirtualDubMod, but looking for another program.)

Thanks, Tom.

fullscreen: if I press cursor right slowly, I will see next picture, without any flickering. If I hold the key down the pictures (every has only 70 KBytes, from webcam) will shown one picture after another - very fast, but also big black squares (if I define backround color black in fullscreen options (F11)) seems to move over the screen - if I switch of "Show information" in fullscreen options, no flickering (but no picture information like <Directory><Filename> - <Size auto>)

picture view mode: if I press cursor right slowly, I will see next picture. If I hold the key down the pictures (every has only 70 KBytes, from webcam) will shown very fast - until pc-speed seems to be not enough, and than some pictures are skipped - in other words: not every picture is shown, it seems that only i.g. every 10th picture is shown. But I would like to see every picture. How many pictures per seconds should depends from individual pc speed.

It would also be good if you can set the maximum number of images displayed. e.g. 5 frames / second if press and hold key "cmd_NextFile"

Good workaround is to configure a dia show with i.g. 100 ms delay to see 10 frames/s :)

Thanks, best regards, Tom
