RC3:Disable one-click mouse behavior in treelist

Post by EgoSun »

Like by default in windows explorer. Very useful, I think (as for me).

Does not work in RC3. I uncheck this option, reload xnview and it still expands folders on left single-click.

Cannot confirm, works as expected here.
  • Restart XnView after change of settings to verify.
  • Also you want to make sure that there is no erroneous doubleclick detection caused by a driver setting or dirt hiding under a mousebutton.

I didn't notice that the folder doesn't expand when I click on it, I expected the hand-cursor to disappear. Many apologies.

And the last request in this topic: could you rename this option to "Disable one-click mouse behavior" and set it unchecked by default, I think it will be more intuitive.

I think important is to add also "one-click mouse behavior in the folder tree" - because users could expect that it is like in windows - "single/double-click to open an item" - in this case in the browser.

If we have "single/double-click" in the folder tree, maybe we could have "single/double-click" (on the thumbnail/file/folder) also in the browser...

I'm using single-click in all programs.

Edit: I'll create new topic for this "blue" suggestion when RC4 will be available, don't reply to this suggestion here please.

In RC4 there's an option now "Browser > Use one click behaviour", now. Solved.
