Quick Search within categories
It is claimed that the Quick Search bar, allows you to search within categories
..but that doesn't work.
If I write "sword", it filters the filenames that have "sword" in them, but not the images that have the "sword" category.
Also, you can have multiple categories, with the same name... (though not the same path, within the category tree)
Edit:
Also, if I want to find image(s) with X in the filename, I don't necessarily want results that has a category called X, and vice versa...

Re: Quick Search within categories
Categories is marked.
As is the default.
Yet I've never been able to use it, to search categories.

Re: Quick Search within categories
In a folder, with eight pictures that have the category of sword, I get this result, as an example. (the middle image, doesn't have the sword category. Just, for some inexplicable reason, "sword" in the file name)
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

Re: Quick Search within categories
It ONLY searches in the filmename.
As I said, there are EIGHT images with a "sword" tag, in that folder. Add the one with sword in the filename, and you get nine.
Yet only three are displayed. Just the ones, with "sword", in the filename.

Re: Quick Search within categories
i've tried, and it works correctly. If you select your 8 images, do you see the checkbox in Categories panel for sword?
